The Developer Experience tribe offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the productivity and satisfaction of Danske Bank’s developers as we set out to massively improve the developer journey. This position is within our Developer Performance squad that is responsible for establishing the data foundation for the Developer Experience Tribe, providing metrics for system performance, productivity metrics, QA metrics, dashboards capabilities and similar.

As the Chapter Lead, you are an innovative and motivated leader, who blends deep technical expertise with an enthusiasm for coaching and developing others. You serve as a “player & coach”, spending approximately 30% of your time on managing your Chapter, and the remaining 70% of your time as a doer in a Squad delivering value by completing work.

You will carry the HR responsibility for your chapter members, as they will report to you as their Line Manager. As a person you are therefore excited about helping them grow and develop by adopting a catalyst leader mentality and approach.

You will:

  • Be an integral part of building the data foundation and platform for developer and system metrics
  • Establish integration and flow to central data warehouse to enable organization wide consumption
  • Transform functional and non-functional requirements to solid system designs
  • Integration of vendor-built systems & packages
  • Assist with defining technical stack and development best practices
  • Develop guidelines incl. best practices to improve the execution of chapter members
  • Empower and facilitate others development
  • Developing the discipline from a strategic view
  • Builds the capabilities to develop and maintain the discipline

About you:

We imagine you have at least 5 years of programming experience (e.g., JAVA, C#, SQL, RabbitMQ, SpringBoot, Hibernate, Maven) and a degree in Computer Science or related technical subject area.

You are experience and familiarity with key cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud etc.)

  • Understanding of data management best practices and how to establish a healthy and extendible data product
  • A knowledge leader within their domain of expertise
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal and explanation skills
  • Leadership experience
  • Coaching, mentoring and teaching skills. Strong in facilitating competence discussions
  • Can strategically develop the discipline within the chapter
  • Provides and seeks open exchange of view on difficult issues
  • Advanced English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
