Business Risk and Controls Officer

Join our 1st Line FC Governance and Regulatory Engagement LT team at Danske Bank, where we fight the financial crime by helping the department to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, manage interactions with external regulators and maintain an oversight of internal observations through stakeholder engagement, reporting and enhancement of the reporting templates through automation.

As a Business Risk Officer in the 1st Line FC Governance and Regulatory Engagement LT team, you will hold an essential position facilitating the effective management of business and regulatory risks. This role demands proactive engagement in developing and refining processes that support the team’s professional aim of contributing to the financial crime governance and regulatory engagements.

We look for someone with the ability to learn tasks of 3 different teams, great environment to share creative ideas for process optimization, automation, enhancements.

You will:

  • Assist on various data and reporting tasks across the 1st Line FC Governance and Regulatory Engagement department by facilitating and eventually managing processes for the team
  • Construct and carry out quality control and assessment processes related to the work of the team
  • Facilitate and support projects, ensuring a transparent and smooth information flow throughout the organization, including branches and subsidiaries
  • Engage with stakeholders on multiple levels within the organization, from juniors to senior management

About you:

  • Up to 2 years of experience in compliance, law, risk management, financial crime prevention, or a similar field
  • Strong communication abilities and advanced proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while delivering high-quality work
  • Structured approach with attention to detail and ownership abilities
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions
  • Experience using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel in your daily tasks
  • Jira and Confluence skills would be considered an advantage
  • Curious, eager to learn, someone who asks questions, positive and active

Monthly salary range from 2640 EUR to 3960 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
