Business Analyst in Finance Tribe (Performance and Profitability Support Squad)

We are Performance & Profitability Support squad in the Finance Tribe. A dynamic and geographically diverse team of 9 members split in Business Analysts (BA), IT Developers and IT Engineers located in Denmark and Lithuania. We operate under an agile framework, with our Product Owner located in Denmark, guiding our strategic direction. As BA, located In Vilnius, you will be part of the BA chapter, which is led by a dedicated Chapter Lead. As a new member of our team, your role will be based in the vibrant Vilnius office.

Our team delivers a solid data foundation enabling advisors, performance management and other decision makers to efficiently evaluate customer performance. We do so by continuous optimization and ongoing support of our data. We manage a solution on a group wide basis covering customer profitability throughout Danske Bank with knowledge and information about Customer Profitability concept and data.

The ideal candidate should be creative and genuinely passionate about all aspects of data analysis, demonstrating a keen ability to engage effectively in stakeholder management. They must possess strong communication skills, crucial for articulating task progress, delivery timelines, and for collaborating closely with stakeholders to identify and refine business requirements. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex challenges efficiently.

You will:

Support Monthly Data Updates:

  • Ensure timely and accurate updates of customer profitability data, facilitating ongoing reporting and analysis needs

Perform Data Analyses:

  • Conduct detailed data analyses, interpreting results to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes

Describe Requirements for Developers:

  • Collaborate with Product Owner and IT developers to clearly articulate business requirements for system enhancements and new feature developments, ensuring technical specifications meet business needs

Maintain Data Governance:

  • Uphold data governance standards and practices to ensure the integrity, compliance, and security of data throughout the organization

Continuous Improvement:

  • Actively seek and implement improvements in data processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of outputs

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders to gather feedback and communicate findings from data analyses, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations

About you:

  • Solid understanding of database management systems
  • Strong technical skills, preferably in SQL or similar
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Result-oriented with a positive mindset and proactive can-do attitude
  • Eager to learn and improve, both your skills and the solutions you create
  • Advanced English skills (spoken and written)
  • Bachelor’s degree in formal sciences (IT, economics, mathematics, etc.) would be considered an advantage

Monthly salary range from 2720 EUR to 4080 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
