Business Analyst in Finance Tribe, Accounting Block

Our squad is part of the Finance Tribe, specifically within the Accounting Block. We are one of the four squads which aim to level up accounting experience by developing a brand-new accounting system in the bank.

Currently, our squad consists of 11 members. We follow an agile framework and have developed into a mature and self-driven squad. Our Product Owner (PO) and IT Engineers are located in Lithuania, while our Business Analyst (BA) and your Chapter Lead are based in Denmark.

They must possess strong communication skills, crucial for articulating task progress, delivery timelines, and for collaborating closely with stakeholders to identify and refine business requirements. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex challenges efficiently.

You will:

  • Play a vital role in implementing our new accounting system, ensuring a solid foundation for Group Finance in years to come
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and IT Engineers to clearly articulate business requirements for system enhancements and new feature developments, ensuring technical specifications meet business needs
  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders to gather feedback and communicate findings from data analyses, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions and improvements
  • Prepare detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and system specifications to ensure clarity and consistency
  • Participate in testing and validation of new system features and enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements and function as expected
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new system features and enhancements, ensuring they are effectively utilized

About you:

  • Experience as a Business/ System Analyst or similar roles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Can write SQL queries to extract data for analysis
  • Preferable data and system understanding from either finance, banking or accounting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Result-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Have a “can do” mindset and it motivates you to work in an agile environment.
  • Has a good understanding of finance, banking or accounting
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in formal science (IT, economics, mathematics, etc.) would be considered as advantage
  • Upper-intermediate English skills

Monthly salary range from 2880 EUR to 4320 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
