In Core Finance Solutions, we are on a journey to change the way how the core finance system is being developed and maintained. We are bridging the gap between “old-but-gold” mainframe system and new tech. stack coming in (API integrations, distributed systems, event management etc.).

For this journey, we are looking for software engineering generalists, who are interested in making something meaningful while increasing their skill level. You would be working on a real full-stack as seen in the bank – from building .NET applications to going to the “black screen” in mainframe and mingling with PL/I or JCLs.

Don’t worry if you know nothing about it yet – for us it is more important that you have the right attitude and good knowledge how software engineering works. The rest you will learn with us.

You will:

We don’t want to build legacy systems – we are about modernizing existing systems, by:

  • Utilizing good development practices – regardless of the programming language or the tool at hand
  • Doing modern integrations
  • Developing one of the core systems for the Bank – understanding what responsibility lies in developer hands and the value we bring
  • Bringing long-term value, rather than hunting quick-wins
  • Staying pro-active in finding needed optimizations for the daily data-flows and introducing new tools for the ongoing system implementations
  • Building applications with easy maintenance and operations in mind
  • Working closely with other developers to ensure development is in par with development guidelines and best practices
  • Managing personal time in the best manner

About you:

  • University graduate in Computer Science field
  • Good knowledge about Software Engineering practices
  • Good knowledge of programming languages (procedural or objective)
  • Knowledge about relational databases (structural concepts, data querying, joins etc.)
  • Understanding software development lifecycle process in an agile environment
  • Ability to work both in the team and individually
  • Willing to work in agile & collaborative manner
  • Good communication skills in English is a must – both written and verbal
  • University graduate
