Software Engineer (.Net) in Card Systems

Card Systems is 60 people unit located in Denmark, Vilnius and India. Vilnius Team is known as .Net technological centre of excellence. Now we are ready to welcome new colleague to join our exciting and challenging journey.

We’re a full stack team and we are responsible for architectural decisions as well as exposing card services to customers using digital channels (mobile and Web). We enable customers and other systems to use card services.

Technologies we currently use include:
• C# with ASP.NET Core, Hangfire
• RESTful APIs, RabbitMQ for communication
• React, Redux-Saga & Node.js
• MS SQL using Entity Framework ORM
• ELK logging stack, AppDynamics monitoring
• xUnit, AutoFixture, Moq & SpecFlow for testing
• Docker, OpenShift, Azure DevOps & Terraform
• Git, Swagger & Atlassian Stack

You will:

• Develop leading IT solutions for Cards platform and card-related services based on .NET Core and cloud technologies
• Build and support our enterprise API’s and card-related services
• Continuously learn and improve yourself working in high-performing team of experienced professionals
• Be on the forefront of technological development to ensure the highest possible efficiency and software quality
• Be obsessed with quality and work according to the test driven development (TDD) model
• Work in a self-organizing Scrum team with agile mind-set
• Understand the value of good documentation and contribute when needed
• Work in an international team, which concentrates on innovative business facing solutions

About you:

• 3+ years of experience in .NET platform (preferably C#)
• Experience working with relational databases (preferably MS SQL)
• Code versioning systems (preferably Git)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (i.e., Openshift, Kubernetes) – strong advantage
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices
• React and React Native knowledge – strong advantage
• Ability to suggest technical solutions and openly share with a team
• Focus on quality, passion to do things right
• Being proactive, positive, passionate and outspoken
• Strong “can do” attitude and persistent in achieving goals
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
