Software Engineer (Mainframe) in Wealth Management IT

Currently we are building a Mainframe competencies in Lithuania to focus on stability and high quality of the Core Wealth Management systems, used to run the Customers’ finances on a daily basis.

You will:

We are looking for a Mainframe Software Engineer, who would be responsible for developing existing Mainframe applications related to investments.

You will be part of newly established team in Lithuania to work with retail investment, insurance and savings management solutions mainly based on Mainframe technologies: PL/I, DB2, COBOL and CICS.

Technical experience with any of the technologies mentioned above is not a requirement – we are looking for a team member who can create solid solutions and work with legacy systems – we will train you in the specific language skills and technology stack.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in IT or related technical discipline
  • 1+ years of IBM Mainframe applications development experience
  • Good understanding of development lifecycle process
  • Able to suggest technical solutions and openly share with a team
  • Focus on quality, passion to do things right
  • Can-do attitude, attention to details
  • Ability to work both in team and individually
  • Ability to learn from experienced colleagues
  • Experience working in Financial sector – advantage
  • Fluent in English
