Software Engineer (Mainframe) in Buying and Owning Real Estate Denmark

Buying and Owning Real Estate Denmark (BOREDK) Tribe aims to build solutions which make mortgage processes understandable and enjoyable for all homeowners in Denmark as well as bank employees supporting them.

The tribe has employees across 3 locations: Lithuania, Denmark, and India.

We’re looking for new members to join our squads which are trusted with full-on responsibility for building our solutions forward.

You will:

  • Work with IBM Rational Tools on core mortgage loan systems mainly based on Mainframe: DB2®, COBOL, CICS®, and Java on Mainframe
  • Develop solid solutions which are used by many consumers with a high focus on correct architecture
  • Have an opportunity to work with REST APIs and event-based integrations
  • Maintain and improve legacy system portfolio
  • Work in an agile & collaborative manner within internationally (Denmark and Lithuania) distributed squad

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in applications development
  • SQL and database modelling experience
  • Experience in Mainframe technologies would be beneficial
  • Interested to learn new programming languages, tools and processes
  • Enthusiastic about quality code, with a healthy sprinkle of pragmatism
  • High level of personal responsibility and commitment to the team goals
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in IT or related technical discipline
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills

Monthly salary range from 3280 EUR to 4920 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
