Service Manager in Infrastructure Reliability and Engineering (IRE)

We are looking for a proactive colleague to join a Service Manager role in our Infrastructure Reliability and Engineering (IRE) group.

Patch management is critical to any IT infrastructure landscape as it assists in fixing vulnerabilities in software and applications that are susceptible to cyber-attacks, helping organizations reduce security risk.
Working for the patch management team will help you better understand the IT risk management systems.

On a daily basis, you will collaborate with global stakeholders across the bank.

You will:

Overview of tasks include but are not restricted to the below:

  • Interface with business units and IT stakeholders to identify and understand security monitoring and response requirements and design solutions to meet business units and IT stakeholders‘ needs
  • Maintain documentation of the design of the patch management environment through detailed topology documentation and implementation plans and as well cycle by cycle info
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders who own IT infrastructure, applications, processes, and operations
  • Act as point of contact for managing and delivering various patch management, firmware & driver upgrades, on-call reports
  • Implement improvements by assessing baseline, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements
  • Keep improving solutions by automation and planning future needs for stakeholders and engineers
  • Assist colleagues on the DIWA Patching Portal tool or other issues associated with Patching Management
  • Manage AIX patching communication, Change Requests

About you:

  • + 2 years of work experience in the IT field (preferably in Service, Patch or Change management)
  • Service focus
  • Ability to take ownership and contribute to initiatives
  • Strategic thinking
  • Self-motivated attitude with an eagerness to learn
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • ITIL certified (preferred)
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills

Monthly salary range from 2480 EUR to 3720 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
