Service Continuity Manager in IT Service Management

IT Service Continuity within the bank are undergoing a complete transformation and we are looking for a dynamic individual to join a team and contribute to the planning and implementation of the future of the organisation. Experience of working in Service Continuity is essential. An appreciation of different technologies is needed to be able to work with both business and technology groups to plan and deliver targeted continuity exercises. You will also be involved in a large scale exercise coming up.

IT Service Management Team is looking for Service Continuity Manager (SCM) whose main purpose will be to manage the risks that could seriously affect IT services, and hereby secure that the IT services are available to the minimum agreed service levels.

You will:

• Produce and maintain a set of IT service continuity plans that support the overall business continuity plans of the organization
• Manage regular exercises to ensure that all continuity plans are maintained in line with changing business impacts and requirements
• Conduct regular risk assessment and management exercises to manage IT services within an agreed level of business risk in conjunction with the business and the availability management
• Provide advice and guidance to all other areas of the business and IT on all continuity-related issues
• Manage that appropriate continuity mechanisms are put in place to meet or exceed the agreed business continuity targets
• Manage the impact of all changes on the IT service continuity plans and supporting methods and procedures
• Ensure that proactive measures to improve the availability of services are implemented wherever it is cost-justifiable to do so

About you:

• 2+ years of experience in IT service management, development or operations
• Bachelor or Master degree
• Excellent English
• Experience in creation of appropriate process documentation and understanding the importance that it is available and updated
• Experience in generation of reports (incl. ad-hoc reports)
• Good meeting facilitation skills
