Every month Danske Bank mobile bank solution have nearly 20 million of visitors and is constantly growing. Our team in Vilnius is playing a major role in creating fundamentally new solutions for smart phones and web. Now we are primarily working on new mobile bank solution for Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, UK and Luxemburg customers.

For this inspiring journey, we invite a senior software developer to join our team.

You will be part of self-organizing agile team working on a new Digital Banking platform, ensuring smooth operations and improvements for a system handling 1 million unique customers per day, serving 600 requests/sec on average.

You will:

• Design and build for usability, performance, scale and maintainability – with especially high focus on Backend code (C# micro services, API development etc.)
• Be on the forefront of technological development to ensure the highest possible efficiency and software quality
• Work in self-organizing Scrum team and have an agile mind-set
• Collaborate closely with architects, other software engineers, and business analysts
• Try out new technologies and raise the bar for technical excellence

About you:

• Back-end development experience devising, building, and maintaining backend elements of customer facing high-availability software solutions
• C#/.NET skills – experience with microservice development/architecture is preferable
• Some knowledge of front-end technologies – React Native, React, Angular, JavaScript or similar (optional)
• In depth experience using one or more of any leading frameworks
• Understanding design principles of client-server interfaces (REST)
• Knowledge and experience of CI/CD
• Knowledge of data structures
• Good understanding of version control system git
• Solid knowledge of relational databases
• Ability to suggest technical solutions and openly share with a team
• Strong focus on code quality
• Knowledge of best practices and their application
• Team player with agile mind-set
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
