Senior Software Engineer in Markets Core Data Infrastructure Team (.NET/ Java)

As part of Core Data Infrastructure team you will build and run a new data platform for Markets IT. Platform will be used by Danske Bank Corporate & Institutions trading systems. We use latest technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, .NET core, gRPC and Kafka to build the next generation event data platform.

We are responsible for:

  • Building and running the data platform
  • Developing and maintaining client libraries
  • On-boarding different teams into the single platform
  • Helping teams design data models

You will:

  • Unite Markets IT data into a single data platform
  • Own common data platform for Markets IT
  • Develop and maintain client libraries and data connectors
  • Govern canonical data models and schemas
  • Help other teams onboard their data and systems

About you:

Should have:

  • 4 years of C# or Java programming experience
  • Understanding of asynchronous and event driven architectures
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Kubernetes or similar platform experience
  • Data modelling and technical mentoring skills

Nice to have:

  • DevOps: build – deploy – run using Azure Devops or equivalent
  • gRPC experience
  • Experience in C#, Java and C++ programming
  • Kafka and other messaging platforms
  • Skills in Linux, Docker, Microsoft SQL Server
