Senior Software Architect in Credit Decisioning Tribe

Do you want to build Danske Banks credit platform that influence credit decisions in Danske Bank? We now offer an opportunity to be part of the Credit Decisioning Tribe within Danske Bank, where our mission is to enable customers to realize their dreams and ambitions with trusted and frictionless credit decisions in any channel and journey.

You will become part of our Tribe, where your role will be to define Danske Banks target architecture for the credit decisioning area. You will work together with multiple cross-functional squads and be part of our chapter of Software Architects, defining practices and reference architecture across all our 20+ squads in our tribe.

We are on a journey to create a unified, plug-and-play credit process that can hook into all our channels. We have a data-driven approach for creating near-instant, automated credit decisions, that work seamlessly with our advisory solutions. We have a solid customer focus, where we do our best to provide the best possible experience for customers and advisors. We provide and develop capabilities that Danske Bank use for assessing all loan applications, whether it be simple personal customers applying for a Mastercard to cross-country, big enterprises applying for complex loans and credit facilities. You will:

  • Set the architectural direction of one of the Nordics largest banks and one of Denmark’s biggest IT companies, where you will head the solution architectures direction for one of the core areas of banking
  • See the “big picture” across solutions, systems, and the organization
  • Do architectural design and implementation in collaboration with multiple development teams
  • Work with senior stakeholders to define our target architecture to reach our strategic goals
  • Act as architecture lead in development initiatives to improve solution design and provide solution guidance to team members
  • Design solutions to meet short- and long-term business needs and requirements, aligned with strategic architecture direction and roadmaps
  • Help to continuously adapt and improve the way we work across squads and tribes

About you:

  • Proven architectural knowledge and experience implementing key technology and business change
  • Experience in designing and transforming complex enterprise systems across multiple teams
  • Experience in API-based integration using REST APIs and event-driven architecture
  • Experience in Microservices architecture and containerised development and deployment
  • Proficiency in domain modelling and Domain Driven Design (DDD)
  • Ability to communicate architecture on all levels and to all stakeholders
  • Ability to promote common understanding and take the right architectural decisions
  • Focus on quality and architecture, a “yes we can” attitude, a great sense of responsibility, ability to self-organize and work autonomously with the mandate to move fast and do things differently
  • Advanced English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4960 EUR to 7440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
