Senior Risk Specialist for Governance and Third Party Risk Management

You will join the newly created team in Vilnius and will be a part of global Sourcing and Third Party Compliance team, which will consist of 10 team members. Our team is currently working towards a shared goal of changing Danske Bank’s way of working with third party risk management and compliance in First Line of Defense. We need you to help us on this journey.

Depending on your experience and knowledge we may offer you a different seniority of the role.

You will:

• Implementation and ongoing development of Third Party and Intragroup Outsourcing Risk Program activities
• Assess external risk emanating from current and prospective third and fourth parties, and determine impact on risk profile
• Facilitate risk assessments with cross-functional stakeholders
• Monitor compliance risks related to outsourcing and third parties
• Produce and present detailed, accurate and meaningful reporting to senior management and committees
• Ensure that internal governance and framework for Outsourcing and Third Parties are in line with regulatory expectations, local regulation and market specific requirements, including drafting instructions, procedures and supporting templates
• To build and maintain effective relationship across Danske Bank Group, including executive management, business line leadership, Second Line of Defense
• Act as advocate for operational risk in outsourcing and procurement activities to raise awareness within Danske Bank

About you:

• 3+ years relevant experience in vendor governance, risk and/or compliance within a highly regulated industry such as the financial, pharmaceutical or closely related
• Capability to complete formal documentation for submission to Regulatory Authorities
• Knowledge of supplier risk management, control methodologies, contract compliance, data privacy or business continuity
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong sparring skills and ability to stand your ground
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• You are self-driven, but at the same time a team player who thrives in a collaborative and open environment
