The Personal Customers business unit serves Danske Bank’s individual customers in Denmark and the Nordics – from broad retail and youth to affluent and wealth management clients. Danske Bank has just defined its Forward ’28 strategy to lay the tracks for a profitable growth journey in the years ahead. You will play key role in bringing the updated strategy for Personal Customers from plan to action – by ensuring traction in the execution, helping to eliminate roadblocks along the way and creating transparency on progress and the realization of anticipated outcomes.

The Strategy Execution Team is a department that is set to grow to approx. 30 people to support the execution of the Forward ’28 strategy in Personal Customers. The Strategy Execution Team focuses on orchestrating design, delivery, and implementation of the execution initiative portfolio, ensuring clear decision making, consistent prioritization and management of dependencies and risks and confirming ongoing alignment with other business units and group functions.

You will:

You will join the Programme Management Office which will constitute the control room for the overall execution of our new Forward ’28 strategy for Personal Customers. Key activities include:

  • Build a deep understanding of execution status across the entire portfolio of strategy execution initiatives – covering both digital development and business implementation
  • Monitor overall progress and realization of milestones and outcomes (long term and short term OKRs)
  • Deliver presentations on strategy execution to senior management.
  • Ensure resolution of impediments and put in place governance to manage risks and dependencies
  • Connect with reporting needs from central entities (e.g. Group Strategy, Finance)
  • Take care of central support activities (e.g. financial tracking, communication, change management, etc)

The team collaborates closely with the programme managers that are supporting the implementation of execution initiatives, strategy teams that ensure that strategy execution follows the overall directions set out in the Forward ’28 strategy and other entities in the group that are following up on strategy execution (incl. Group Strategy, Performance Management and strategy execution teams in other Business Units).

About you:

You will have impact as of day one in driving execution and creating transparency on outcome realization.

We are looking for an experienced PMO consultant with a strong programme management toolbox, prior experience on working within or with a PMO and a willingness to connect with stakeholders and fix problems.

  • Min- 2-3 years of experience in strategy execution, consultancy, PMO or programme management roles
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to translated qualitative and quantitative analysis into tangible recommendations
  • Structured approach, ability to take ownership and ensure timely, high quality deliveries
  • Programme management and/or PMO experience
  • Ability to communicate complex subjects clearly and precisely – both written and spoken
  • As a person, you are collaborative, energetic, proactive, open to new tasks and ready to take on interesting and complex challenges
  • Seeking continuously feedback and challenging existing ideas to ensure the best possible outcome for our customers
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like economics/business, IT or similar
  • Advanced English skills

Monthly salary range from 3640 EUR to 5460 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
