The Project Management team within Technology & Services Strategy Execution & Business Controls area is a new centralized hub of project & programme management capabilities uniting 80+ highly skilled professionals. We propel & carry out on key T&S initiatives by applying best practices to transform strategy into sustainable results & benefits for the Bank.

Therefore, our core competencies are the ability to turn complex requirements into simple solutions that take the shape of streamlined processes, efficient IT-systems and remediated non-compliances. We have a deep understanding of operational and technical best practices in diverse areas such as operational, technical, and regulatory. We all apply to deliver on customer promises.

To do well in this role, we are looking for someone who comes with experience in strategy implementation or implementation of organizational change and is looking to make an impact. You bring an optimistic mind-set and can-do attitude that enable you to keep going when things are tough while never losing sight of the risk and issues to be dealt with. You take great pride in results delivery, but consider contributing to your team agenda just as an important task.

You will drive a major transformation programme to deliver on Danske Bank’s promise to become a better bank. Your responsibility will be to lead a complex strategic programme with executive sponsorship that reaches across all business units and multiple markets.

You will:

  • Delivery of high-quality, sustainable results while maintaining high moral standards & behaviors
  • Full program lifecycle management from scoping to full implementation and value creation to the benefit of all involved stakeholders
  • Facilitation and conceptualization of best practice solutions that are implemented by your core team or the extended teams in the business and local areas
  • Programme team leadership, including coaching and development of people to assist facilitate the next generation of ever-growing change agents
  • Engagement with executive stakeholders in the business and acting as an execution partner

About you:

• 5+ years in an advanced management role (experience with a complex change and full lifecycle management of strategic large-scale projects & programmes)
• Solid stakeholder management, including executive-level stakeholders, skilled at negotiation
• High-quality methodical knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
• Leadership and conceptual management of strategy to implementation
• High-quality communication skills especially focused on conveying complex information in an approachable manner
• Pragmatic approach to achieving integrated business planning
• IPMA B, PMP, MSP/PGMP or equivalent certification
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience propelling difficult organizational change and experience in the financial industry would be considered as an advantage
