We are a young team in charge of Danske Bank infrastructure. Using our automation, coding skills and development methods, we are making our servers process transactions, send messages, make sense of big data, run containers and do lots of wonderful things for our customers.
Danske Bank infrastructure is growing fast and we never run out of puzzles to solve, new things to test, people to meet and ideas to share.
• Working on implementing centralized management and performance monitoring solutions for the infrastructure using best in class products
• Helping to develop various infrastructure provisioning and management API’s
• Searching for untouched grounds by implementing Windows Server Docker Containers capability in OpenShift environment
• Helping to engineer public (Azure and AWS) and private (VMware) cloud-based solutions
• Implementing craziest ideas in automated incident and monitoring response systems to make team life easier
• Being a developer obsessed with making their experiences smoother and self-serviceable in a Distributed environment
• Keeping Windows Server infrastructure happy and healthy
• Managing large environment using tailored Infrastructure-as-Code principles (Config Management)
• Ensuring Bank’s infrastructure resiliency and recovery fit the highest standards
• Getting even the most complex incidents solved once and for all quickly and efficiently by following security standards and ITIL practices. Including after hours (on-call)
• Being a Tech Guru and providing technical leadership to colleagues in the field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the IT field
• >3-5 years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer or equivalent
• Passionate and experienced with automation by coding, configuration management systems (Chef, DSC, Ansible and similar tools)
• Experience with cloud solutions and principals (Azure/AWS)
• Programming skills and automation knowledge ( at least two PowerShell, Ruby, Python,C#, .NET Core)
• ITIL awareness and ability to apply best practices
• Experience with distributed systems and high availability solutions working at high scale
• Understanding of security challenges and solutions (IAM Vulnerability and Compliance best practices, Security Standards)
• Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
