Senior Officer in OTC Derivatives Settlement

As a Senior Officer, you will be responsible for various post trade services, such as trade life-cycle management, settlement, investigations and continuous process improvements. Senior Officer performs back-office tasks of high complexity, while in close collaboration with stakeholders and customers, additionally focusing on ongoing systems or clients projects.

 

You will:

  • Timely and accurate settlement of Over-The-Counter derivatives
  • Regular communication with different stakeholders within the bank as well as external parties globally resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely service delivery
  • Problem solving, investigation, reconciliation, handling payments and confirmations of derivatives products
  • Reporting to internal and external stakeholders (institutions)
  • Delivering on risk agenda, analysis and tracking of PRI’s, MI
  • Maintaining and improving quality of daily tasks with automation focus so the client receives the best possible service

About you:

  • 1-2 years work experience within financial services
  • Knowledge of financial products and services with good understanding of trade life cycle
  • Excel, SQL, VBA knowledge is an advantage
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative mind-set
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Fluency in English
  • Flexibility to travel abroad if needed

Would help you to deliver:

  • Experience of settlements within the area of treasury or derivatives products
  • SWIFT knowledge

You will be involved in solving customer queries, investigating trade discrepancies, supporting stakeholders around the globe and delivering on risk agenda within tight market schedules and requirements.
