The Core Transaction Monitoring Controls Team forms part of the 1st Line Financial Crime Transformation, Risk, and Control function and is responsible for advising on and ensuring appropriate controls are identified, implemented, and maintained to manage the bank’s evolving financial crime risk landscape.
We are looking for Senior Office Transaction Monitoring specialists with 5–7 years of experience to join our 1st Line Transaction Monitoring Model and Development team. The role will be based in Warsaw (Poland) or Vilnius (Lithuania) and will involve contributing to a large Transaction Monitoring team spread across multiple jurisdictions, including Copenhagen, Warsaw, and other Nordic countries.
The transaction monitoring ecosystem is a core control area that is critical to the Bank’s fight against financial crime. As a Senior Officer within the Model and Development team, you will play a key role in driving the requirements and design of new scenarios, optimizing existing rules, and identifying when rules have become redundant and should be discontinued. You will also advise on risk mitigation within the transaction profiles of our customers and across the Bank’s products, services, and customers. The coverage of this role extends to include payments, capital markets, and trade finance, as well as other specialized products.
To succeed in this role, you will need not only to have a solid grasp of financial crime laws and regulations but also to have experience and knowledge of translating these into a proportionate and risk-based control environment.
Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you different seniority of the role.
