Senior Network Automation Engineer

Network Automation team in Network Technology department is responsible for automation, orchestration and optimization of network components, internal processes and systems in global Danske Bank infrastructure spanning a number of different technologies such as Load Balancing, Firewalling, IPAM, DNS, Switching/Routing and systems such as Private Cloud, asset management, internal tooling and etc. Main team responsibilities are to automate and simplify network capabilities, ensure high availability of automation/orchestration algorithms/platforms and take care of team’s systems monitoring. Team works very close with departments engineering, reliability, delivery colleagues and representatives from other departments when we integrate our solutions at organizational level or consume other services.

You will:

Network Technology Automation teams mission is to make Network Technology department more efficient and resource effective with same or lower risk by using automation and programmability capabilities.

  • Design, shape and lead development of Danske Bank Internal Cloud network components automation, orchestration and self-service capabilities
  • Lead lifecycle and improvement initiatives
  • Leading internal projects
  • Be active advocate of programmability within the department
  • Work closely with application development and other technical teams to understand future automation demands

About you:

Mandatory:

  • More than 4 year experience with network/infrastructure management
  • More than 2 year experience with DevOps, automation or software engineering
  • Proven track of deliveries in network/software engineering
  • Good team-working and communication skills
  • Courage to change way of working
  • Analytical skills
  • Passionate to make life simple by automating complex tasks
  • High standards and keeping up speed in changing IT environment
  • Strong ownership of team’s systems and solutions
