You have an opportunity to become part of the legal department of Danske Bank Corporates & Institutions – the investment banking arm of Danske Bank.

C&I Legal is a cross-border team of dedicated, highly specialized professionals who work closely across the group to provide quality legal services.

The Master Agreements legal team in Vilnius handles end-to-end negotiation of master agreements for trades in financial instruments on behalf of Danske Bank. We conduct legal negotiations with the bank’s largest corporate and institutional customers, which are often represented by the leading global law firms. In addition to the negotiations, the Master Agreements team handles other legal and regulatory matters and projects relevant to our area.

In the light of the team’s successful performance we have now been entrusted with an additional client segment. For this reason, we are expanding the Master Agreements Team and looking for two Senior Legal Counsels to join the team.

You will be working in Danske Bank Global Service Lithuania (GSL). GSL is the center for professional services in legal, finance and other areas.

• Master’s degree in Law
• 3+ years of professional experience in a demanding legal work
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Strong analytical and drafting skills
• Ability to balance legal risks against business demands, while maintaining integrity
• Being customer-oriented and quality-conscious
• Very good communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with derivatives, ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA, CSA, give-up agreements is an advantage, but not a requirement
