Senior Legal Counsel at Technology and Services Legal

We are looking for an independent and efficient person who understands commercial contexts to join our Technology & Services Legal.

You will be part of an international and multicultural legal organisation of 190+ lawyers in Danske Bank Group Legal. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will focus on group-wide supplier contract negotiations and regulatory requirements, in particular with respect to GDPR, outsourcing and DORA. Our team consists of 15 dedicated lawyers, 11 of which are located in Copenhagen and 4 in Vilnius.

You will:

  • Have daily interaction with all business units within the Danske Bank Group
  • Primarily focus on advising Group and Regional Procurement, as well as the bank’s other internal support areas, which is why the position requires a combination of legal knowledge, a solution-oriented mindset and a solid business understanding
  • Have a wide range of tasks, including clearing, payment and card infrastructure
  • Be responsible for Danske Bank Group’s IPR protection
  • Draft, review and negotiate IT contracts and other kinds of agreements
  • Support our internal stakeholders in legal matters throughout the full-delivery contract lifecycle of projects/products, including dispute/claim handling when needed
  • Communicate complex legal matters in a simple form regardless of the recipient’s background

About you:

  • Bachelor of Laws or Master of Laws degree
  • Relevant experience with IT law, outsourcing and/or GDPR
  • Enjoy influencing business decisions
  • Independent, efficient, and good at prioritizing
  • An established communicator and have a sense of humour
  • Have good negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced English skills, both orally and in writing
  • Proactive and responsible, have a “can-do” attitude, able to coordinate multiple priorities and shifting demands, take responsibility in a time-sensitive setting, and stick to the deadlines

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3120 EUR to 4680 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
