We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager in the Cloud Transformation team within Tech Strategy & Acceleration. As part of this role, you will coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless and timely execution of Cloud migration activities.

Danske Bank has recently announced Forward’28 strategy that has a huge emphasis on further digitalization of the bank, which among other priorities also includes migration to the Public cloud. Our mission in the team is to enable efficient migration to the cloud by applying project management’s best practices. Being part of the team will mean your contribution to a large scale cloud migration at the bank, which is among the first ones migrating critical workloads to the Public cloud in the Nordics.

The role is located in Lithuania. You will work closely with stakeholders, mainly located in Denmark, Lithuania and India.

*Please note that this position is temporary to cover a person on maternity leave with the possibility of becoming permanent.

You will:

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless and timely execution of a particular stream in the Cloud migration programme
Ensure that all activities are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Develop stream‘s scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Develop a detailed plan for the stream activities to track progress and ensure resource availability and allocation
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs, and measure stream performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to the Cloud migration programme management as needed
Manage the relationship with all relevant stakeholders and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Communicate effectively across the organization, providing updates, progress reports, and recommendations to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks and create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the stream

About you:

Bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proven track record in driving IT projects (at least 2+ years)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills, including problem-solving skills
Motivated by solving complex situations and excited about shaping and guiding projects through uncertainty
Structured, pragmatic and driving outcomes
Basic public cloud knowledge (preferred)
Advanced English skills

Monthly salary range from 3760 EUR to 5640 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
