Senior IT Procurement Manager

As Senior IT Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for both procurement of Software & IT Services, sourcing projects from demand management side till the contract sign off. You will have an opportunity to be engaged in bank cost optimization and compliance projects, M&A activities and category management.

You will be part of IT Procurement team in Lithuania, which is part of Strategic Sourcing Procurement. There are more than 20 IT Procurement professionals spread across Denmark, Lithuania, who are responsible for delivering end-to-end IT procurement services to the whole Danske Bank group.

You will:

  • Engage on daily basis with various stakeholders, identifying and understanding their requirements and demand, work with them on business case preparations
  • Provide procurement of IT solutions, SaaS, software, services with the focus on commercial competitiveness, risk management related to financial institutions and total cost of ownership
  • Execute complex sourcing activities (RFx, tender, etc) according to the best practices
  • Work with outsourcing contracts according to EBA regulations
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations in liaison with specialists across Legal, Compliance, Performance Management etc. to ensure compliance to business needs and Group policies
  • Lead and identify continuous improvement/cost reductions on a regular and proactive basis (i.e. supplier rationalization, demand management, and other proactive opportunities)
  • Present sourcing cases to management

About you:

  • 3 – 5 years of IT procurement or indirect procurement experience is a must
  • Understanding of procurement process and function
  • Software, SaaS, PaaS knowledge from commercial point of view
  • Commercial savviness
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Contract drafting skills in IT area
  • Understanding of basic legal terms and contractual obligations is a must
  • Strong preference for execution and delivery of results
  • Experience with project and program management
  • Clear interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills with stakeholders, vendors and senior management
  • Knowledge/experience in sourcing of IT hardware, telco categories is an advantage
  • Knowledge of outsourcing in financial sector is preferred and will be regarded as strong advantage
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on your own and in a team
  • Willingness to learn, pro-activeness
  • Advanced English language, both oral and written

Monthly salary range from 2680 EUR to 4020 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
