Senior Data Engineer in Process Insights Squad

With a new agile Tribe setup, the Process Insights (PI) squad is on a mission to provide accurate real time data on operational processes to support the bank in making efficiency driven decisions.

As a Data Engineer, you will be supporting the squad in taking the next evolutionary step in data migration practice and governance. You will be working with a wide variety of data sources and to investigating and migrating them to suit business needs.

You will:

  • Planning and supporting integration of various data sources into the Process Insights repository
  • Data discovery, data profiling, data modelling and translating high level business requirements into ETL specifications
  • Combining raw information from different sources
  • Developing processes for data acquisition, data transformation, data migration, data verification and data monitoring
  • Guiding integration of data analysis in recurring reporting and data marts
  • Collaborating with other Data Engineers and developers to establish data governance, validation and development
  • Designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end data solutions while working on both ETL and Mart levels
  • Driving the optimization and automatization of the existing flows and processes in the systems
  • Building a solution for are liable, robust, and easily accessible People Tribe data repository with other Data Engineers in the Chapter

About you:

  • Have a proven (3-5y) experience in data source development and IT project lifecycle, gained by working in data warehousing or software projects
  • Have a comprehensive hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Have a proven history of understanding data and organizing it into structured, meaningful, and reusable databases
  • Can see a broader picture and dive into details to understand particular data usage, dependencies, and relations
  • Know what it takes to establish a proper Data Governance by building standards and processes around data flows
  • Being proactive and a team player believing that collaboration with colleagues is the key driver of success
  • Have an understanding on how data is extracted, transformed, and loaded for BI/solution purposes and how it influences decision modelling
  • Can work independently with Business Analysts

You will be working in a new and energized team, with many other Data Engineers in the same Chapter.
