Do you want to join us in establishing a new team with the mission of reducing operational risks by efficient controls? Are you a dedicated and creative controller, who wants to influence the way we are going to test and evaluate our controls in Customer Service Delivery (CSD) across various business functions?

Then join the new Control Testing Team in the CSD Business Risk & Controls department, where we act as a central unit across the CSD business organisations.

In CSD, we are more than 4,000 employees placed in four units: Group Wide Services, Banking Services, Wholesale Banking Services and Financial Crime Prevention. They are all responsible for delivering core banking and investment transaction services to Danske Bank‘s more than two million customers.

The Control Testing team will be located in Vilnius as well as Copenhagen to reflect where the underlying activities are.
Right now, we are looking for new members to be working in Vilnius.

You will:

You will be looking into various processes to test and evaluate the efficiency of the controls.

  • To take part in setting up a framework and methodology for quality controls
  • To evaluate the quality and efficiency of controls
  • To create a central risk based overview of controls in the CSD units
  • To engage with and advise the CSD units as a consultant in how to create more efficient controls
  • To report regularly on control quality to CSD Risk Committee

On a daily basis, you will work in close collaboration with controllers, risk owners, risk managers and CSD employees at all levels across the various business functions:

  • 60% socializing, getting people to know you, communication, building up relationship
  • 40% digging up to details, investigation

About you:

We expect that you:

  • Have at least 3-5 years of experience within the financial and banking sector working with controlling
  • A strong understanding of best practice in conducting controls
  • You are detail oriented, self-driven and self-motivated as a character
  • A higher education, preferably within Economics, Finance or other related fields
  • Willingness and desire to improve quality and reduce operational risks in processes
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • An ability to see how things fit into the big picture when focusing on a single process or control
  • A flexible approach in working methods, as it is a new function
  • Able to work independently and to give input to improvements
  • Professional writing and communication skills in English. A Scandinavian language would be a plus
