We’re looking for a new colleague to join the Danske Bank Lithuania Communications team, which is also an integral part of the global Danske Bank Group communicators’ network.

Our mandate is broad: we work with local and global projects, teams and leaders, crafting communication to thousands of Danske Bank employees internally and sharing the most relevant stories externally. In other words, a lot of what you can see & read about Danske Bank as a candidate, or experience as employee, have something to do with our team.

We’re all multidisciplinary creators, writers, consultants, event coordinators, and, let’s be fair, if need be – PowerPoint developers. We don’t believe in narrow functional responsibilities and enjoy the possibility to support a wide variety of projects that require a touch of an experienced communicator.

We’re looking for a self-starting communications professional, who can take ownership of any internal communications project and mostly support the communications needs of our IT centre in Lithuania and Group IT global projects.

You will:

• Independently run and advice local and global teams, projects, and leaders on a wide variety of internal and external communications projects, mostly in Group IT
• Create, review, and edit content for the internal communications that follows the principles of being engaging, simple, to the point and trustworthy to a local and global audience
• Proactively hunt and share good stories in the organisation
• Consult projects & teams on their communications plans & needs
• Facilitate effective leadership communication together with communication colleagues from other locations
• Bridge Danske Bank IT Centre in Lithuania with rest of Group IT and Danske Bank in order to create a one Danske Bank feeling

About you:

• Min. 3 years of proven experience with strategic and tactical communication
• Experience in building internal and external communications strategies at both project and organizational levels
• Proven track record of executing on large, complex communication projects where you were involved from the start to the begining delivering various interdisciplinary activities in the project
• Confident to step-in when necessary to deliver incidents’ communication, change communication, cover for the teamleader
• Good understanding of the IT target audience, finance & IT industries as such would be an advantage
• Self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines, multiple tasks & projects, as well as several stakeholders at the same time
• Good at collaborating locally and globally, open & flexible to taking different roles and responsibilities, based on the need & project
• Strong presentation skills, incl. speaking in front of large internal audiences or delivering communications-related trainings
• Strong copywriting and editing skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
