Product Owner in the Risk and Compliance Tribe

Join us in the Risk & Compliance Tribe as Product Owner for the squad responsible for renovating the group Loan To Value (LTV) definition, where you’ll have an important role in delivering innovative solutions.

The Agile matrix model purposefully separates the task-and-goal oriented leadership (the “What” set by the Product Owner from the “How” set by the Chapter Lead), when delivering technology and solutions in the Squads.

As a Product Owner for the LTV squad, you are consequently expected to be focused on the end product and mentoring the team to deliver high quality to the end users.

You will:

  • Lead a cross-functional squad of 8-10 members, and build a collaborative and inclusive work culture, promoting cross-functional communication among team members in India, Lithuania and Denmark
  • Be an active member of the larger Risk & Compliance Tribe leadership team
  • Engage in close collaboration with key stakeholders on development and prioritization processes, and coordinate closely with other Product Owners within and outside of the Risk and Compliance Tribe
  • Guide the squad and strategize upcoming tasks
  • Support key systems used in the credit process
  • Ensure continuous improvements and agile behavior

About you:

  • An educational background in finance, economics, mathematics, or IT
  • Experience with credit risk management within the financial industry
  • Understanding of IT system development including cloud computing
  • Ability to understand complex risk solutions/processes and especially how data can transform into analytical insights
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Your ability to set clear directions and communicate priorities to your colleagues and key stakeholders is crucial
  • Product owner experience would be advantageous
  • Advanced English skills

Monthly salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

The Product Owner role combines servant leadership with hands-on execution, working to improve the risk discipline across the Risk & Compliance Tribe. The role requires navigating from strategy to delivering business value. It is consequently an interesting mix of big picture and granular detail.
