Are you interested in cash and securities trading and see yourself working in financial market operations?

You will join Danske Bank WBS (Wholesale Banking Services) department, where we work globally and customer-centric. As an Operations Officer in a global Client Services team, you will mainly work with Nordic countries and you will play an important role in the cash trading process within the bank from the trading desk to the final settlement across different markets to ensure efficient trading process with and for our clients.

The main role is working with the Cash payment set up process, Standard Settlement Instructions and SWIFT.

We are looking for team players who are keen on efficiently handling different tasks and will deliver high quality on time with a desire to continuously improve processes, systems and automation.
Depending on your experience, knowledge and interest in the Financial Markets and operations, you may join as a more junior or a more independently working colleague. What we offer you is a role in which constant learning, growth and development opportunities are available.

You will be required to cover Bank Holidays in the different regions we support and may be required to work late shifts from time to time, 10:30 to 19:30.

You will be joining a team which is located in Vilnius.

You will:

• Timely and accurate processing in different markets and various platforms
• Managing clients’ set up for trading
• Investigating and resolving exceptions and discrepancies
• Direct daily (primarily written) communication with a wide range of international stakeholders within the bank as well as external parties globally ensuring quality service delivery
• Proactive risk management with a focus on continuous improvement of our processes and the service we provide to our clients

About you:

• 1+ year work experience in back office (in the finance area, or experience with Standard Settlement Instructions or cash product (IE FX) payment processes, would be an advantage)
• Knowledge and interest in financial markets and banking operations
• Ability to work in a dynamic area and process large volumes of tasks within tight deadlines across different work streams
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn continuously
• Good organizational skills and ability to adapt to rapid changes and deal with certain level of unknown
• Team-player with a positive attitude and CAN-DO mind-set
• Capacity to organise work, prioritising urgent tasks
• Higher education
• Fluent English in both speaking and writing
