Officer in E-Communication Surveillance (Danish or Swedish language)

Join the E-Communication Surveillance Team, which is expanding and looking for a Danish or Swedish speaking colleague to cover the Nordic countries.

As an Officer in E-Communication Surveillance, you will be analysing the electronic communication of the bank’s staff to detect the instance of potential market abuse and support the bank maintain its confidence in financial markets. You will daily review written and spoken communication in the Danish or Swedish language as well as English. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues locally and in the Nordics to share the intelligence and improve research methods and surveillance process.

You will:

  • Review E-Communication Surveillance alerts to detect incidents of potentially abusive trading activity or misconduct in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Identify, investigate and escalate any irregularities or discrepancies in the alerted communication
  • Keep up with regulatory changes and policies related to Market Abuse prevention to develop expert knowledge in regulatory and Compliance fields
  • Identify areas for process improvement, support and contribute to improvement initiatives

About you:

  • Fluency in the Danish or Swedish language is required (at least B2 level) (for which you will receive a monthly language allowance, that depends on your language knowledge level)
  • Previous experience in a back office would be a pro
  • Higher education (Economics, Finance or similar would be a pro)
  • Knowledge of market products and interest in securities trading would be a pro
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, coupled with efficient follow-up skills
  • Great organization skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, and work under pressure without compromising quality
  • Willing to work in a multicultural and international environment
  • Advanced English skills

Monthly salary range from 1320 EUR to 1980 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
