In Monitoring and Screening tribe, we prevent FinCrime by enabling group-wide monitoring and screening to secure regulatory compliance and a frictionless customer experience through innovative technology & processes.

Monitoring and Screening is a focus area for Danske Bank and the squad focuses on implementing big strategic solutions where we need your help.

This time we are looking for a mainframe developer with a good, agile mindset interested in developing financial crime prevention systems in one of Denmark’s largest companies.

You will:

  • Take full responsibility for solutions (from design to deployment)
  • Ensure that architectural choices are based on best practice and live up to the agility required to continue being best in class
  • Inspire colleagues by setting an example of professionalism and proper work ethics
  • Represent the project/area in internal forums
  • Contribute to the evolution of technology and software development practice stack
  • Challenge our thinking based on experiences with new technologies

About you:

  • 3+ years experience in software development
  • Willingness to learn mainframe technologies (PLI)
  • Experience supporting large scale systems, including on-call responsibility
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Effective communication and social skills and great English language skills
  • Enthusiasm about delivering well-designed, optimized, and scalable solutions

Would be an advantage:

  • Mainframe development experience
  • Programming languages (PLI/C/Cobol)
  • Message brokers (IBM MQ)
  • Databases (DB2, Oracle)
  • Linux administration
