Junior Operations Officer for Payments area (temporary contract with the ability to work from anywhere in Lithuania)

We are looking for You to join probably one of the most driven departments of 5 teams and 80 colleagues. Since we have a variety of more than 140 various tasks and operate in a very lively and welcoming environment, there won’t be much room for routine here.

We collaborate with a variety of businesses (from small businesses to large enterprises and states) and private clients from the entire Nordic region and other Danske group countries in the payments field. Our daily responsibility is to make sure that payments are transferred from bank to bank securely and swiftly until they reach their intended recipient. Can you imagine how fantastic it would be to join our team and learn all there is to know about payments?

We will help you with all tasks and questions you may have and support you in your learning journey. In addition, to strengthen our friendship and collaboration, we have different meetings, and additional activities and we just enjoy spending time together and learning from each other!

We are offering a temporary contract until the end of June 2023 and depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you different seniority in the role. Additionally, we are open to discussing the possibility for you to work from anywhere in Lithuania.

You will:

  • Process transactions on behalf of clients and stakeholders
  • Handle and support colleagues with administrative tasks
  • Perform controls and reviews of process steps
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures when necessary
  • Collaborate with colleagues
  • Bring ideas for process improvement and optimization, and participate in their implementation

About you:

  • Higher education or final year student (able to work full time)
  • Ability to deal with repetitive tasks
  • Attentive to details and able to learn quickly
  • Curious personality and willing to search for the answer to the questions that come up
  • Intermediate English language skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 960 EUR to 1440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
