As part of our Business Risk & Controls department, you will work in a team enthusiastic about empowering Danske Bank Technology & Services (T&S) to provide great service by working on a wide variety of non-financial risk management projects in the Governance & Methodology team.

We assist our T&S teams to ensure compliance with our Group Non-financial risk framework by effectively engaging internal stakeholders including other Business Risk & Control divisions and 2LOD to provide feedback on policies and instructions, performing deep dives on specific risk topics and developing implementation strategies for new risk and control framework requirements. We provide feedback and challenge and work with T&S units to ensure risk remediation efforts are handled effectively and efficiently.

We are looking for someone to join our Lithuania-based team.

N.B. This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania.

"You will become a part of the international risk team with 30+ employees across both Copenhagen and Vilnius (you will be based in Vilnius). "

You will:

  • Work as part of a team developing methodologies and guidelines for Technology & Services units to complement policies/instructions from 2LOD
  • Provide feedback on policy/instruction
  • Work across units to continually build a stronger and more standardized risk management environment
  • Contribute to building and implementing the overall quality and risk strategy, tools and processes.
  • Promote a culture of continuing focus on risk management, including supporting processes dedicated to risk mitigation monitoring

About you:

  • 2+ years experience with non-financial risk management, or an audit/compliance / policy background (preferably in financial institutions)
  • Desire to become a trusted risk partner
  • Ability to build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Self-starter and capable of working as part of a team
  • Attentive to details
  • Fast learner, and able of running with assignments
  • Efficient communication skills
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills

Monthly salary range from 1440 EUR to 2160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
