IT Supplier Manager in Vendor Management Team (maternity cover)

Come and join a highly skilled and highly motivated Vendor Management Team. We are a team of 14 contract, finance, and supplier managers across Denmark and Lithuania responsible for managing external vendors critical to Danske Bank. We take great pride in supporting our business by ensuring the agreed performance and value from the contracts. We build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

You will be responsible for your vendors’ portfolio and work closely with, e.g., the contract owners, our team of contract managers, procurement managers, etc. We will, of course, be able to onboard you remotely. We are very focused on creating an excellent collaborative working environment – professionally and socially – when currently working from home.

You will:

  • Ensure that ongoing service delivery of critical and complex IT services and associated support meet agreed on needs and service levels
  • Accountable for a portfolio of vendors of varying complexity, including being responsible for their performance
  • Participate in the negotiation of Service Level Agreements (internally and externally)
  • Identify and encourage continuous improvement initiatives to achieve service excellence across IT operation processes
  • Advisor and facilitator for Service Design activities that ensure that all Services are negotiated agreed and documented
  • Identify, prioritize and execute onboarding actions for vendors
  • Organize operational interfaces for vendors providing effective and efficient process interfaces
  • Provide direction and leadership to all relevant stakeholders (incl. Suppliers)

About you:

  • 3+ years experience managing vendors or similar – or maybe delivering IT services from the vendor side
  • Expertise in supplier management and other processes, especially service level management and corporate vendor management or procurement processes
  • Experience with developing, designing, and implementing Performance management discipline
  • Experience in identifying, reviewing, and implementing continuous improvements initiatives
  • Experienced managing stakeholders environments (internally and externally)
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating IT SLA’s
