IT Operations Specialist in Application Operation Centre

If yes, join Application Operations Centre (APOC) team, which is part of wider IT Operations organisation, focuses on monitoring critical Danske Bank applications, restoring normal service operations as quickly as possible and minimising the adverse impact on customers.

Team operates on 24/7 basis and is currently looking for a colleague who is passionate about new technologies and trends in operations, has some experience in automation and scripting and is willing to become a part of quickly developing and quality-driven team.

You will:

  • Monitoring critical Danske Bank application performance
  • Managing and resolving non-complex application incidents
  • Cooperation with application owners while analyzing complex issues (including root-cause analysis and trend analysis)
  • Proactively managing the production environments and pending changes to ensure timely mitigation of risks
  • Optimizing operational processes and driving continuous service improvement initiatives
  • Contribution to ongoing strategic projects and other initiatives, e.g. transition of services from other provider
  • Participation in application development process in order to ensure early quality assurance and relevant monitoring set up

About you:

  • Experience in Level 1 support within an IT Organization
  • Ability to work in shifts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good analytical skills
  • Goal oriented approach and ability to perform well in a dynamic environment with a focus on highest quality and delivery
  • Programming experience (can be self-learned) in one of the following languages – PowerShell, Python or Bash – would be an advantage
  • Bachelor or Master degree in IT or related field is a plus
