IT Contract Manager in IT Contract, Asset and Performance Management

You will be part of an ambitious expanding team; IT Contract, Asset and Performance management team in IT Operations with 20+ people in Denmark, Lithuania and India.

In close collaboration with internal stakeholders, the team strive to provide excellent vendor performance. Danske Bank’s customers rely on available online and digital solutions 24/7 and external IT vendors are part of the ecosystem providing these solutions. That is why our team plays an important role in achieving the bank’s business objectives and supporting the customer experience by ensuring optimum value from our contracts.

You will be managing critical IT contracts with external vendors by building relationships, optimizing the value of the contracts and tracking the performance of the vendor.

Your contribution will be of high importance as you ensure the vendors continuously deliver on their contractual obligations, keep compliant with relevant regulations, and mitigate any risks from their services while aligning to the contract owners’ expectations.

You will:

• You will be responsible for a portfolio of IT vendors and contracts after contract signature
• Your role will be to build, facilitate and govern the relationship with the vendors’ representatives and the internal contract owner
• You will continuously track, monitor and follow up on the obligations and rights in the agreements towards the vendor
• You will, in case of deviation from what is agreed be responsible to engage relevant internal subject matter experts from legal, finance and risk and engage with the vendor agreeing and monitor remediation actions
• You will be responsible for running a structured governance setup with the relevant meetings on both operational, tactical and strategic levels collaborating with the relevant internal stakeholders and the vendor
• You will work closely with procurement and legal in contract negotiations ensuring all appropriate terms for the appropriate monitoring and governance of the contract after signature
• You will ensure the organizational implementation of agreements after signature through continuous communication to all relevant stakeholders
• You will be responsible for the documentation of contractual issues and governance related material
• You will contribute in the development and improvement of our team’s processes and ways of working

About you:

• You have 3 +years  experience with contract management or related experience for instance in a sourcing, procurement or a service delivery function
• You have experience managing professional relationships and commercial engagements
• You are experienced with IT contracts preferably outsourced services and/or software
• You are experienced working either in a (larger) customer organization or at the vendor side
• You are proactive and take responsibility for ensuring the optimal value out of the contracts
• You are detail-oriented, thorough, focused on quality and long-term solutions, structured with profound analytical skills.
• You are passionate about knowledge sharing and collaboration with your colleagues.
• You have strong communication skills both written and verbally in English incl. ability to adapt your communication also across cultures
• Experience with risk management and/or compliance monitoring measures will be considered an advantage
