Human Centred Design Specialist (UX/UI), Interfaces and Channels

The team is part of the Danske Bank AML Review development Tribe. We are cross national with colleagues located in across the Nordics, Lithuania, Poland and India. The team responsibilities range from small improvement of the current solution to conceptualizing & launching new universes supporting the customers in their Ongoing Due Diligence journey. The squad consists of a Product Owner; a UX-designer (You :-); business analysts, developers and architects. As a UX Designer you are also part of the Human Centered Design chapter, with UX colleagues working in adjacent squads. The chapter will support your UX efforts and will ensure the sharing of best practices and shared vision.

Our Mission is to protect our customers, society, and the bank from Financial Crime by developing Anti-Money Laundering solutions and processes to ensure regulatory compliance.

The Requirements Management team is looking for UX designer who will take our platform to the next level. Our goal is to provide a flexible one point of entry user interface to detail and manage regulatory requirements. In doing so, we can ensure uniform, ongoing due diligence case quality by making it easy for all relevant parties to view and update regulatory requirements via an intuitive UI interface. You are a person who has the ability and motivation to drive these key UI/UX tasks forward, challenge assumptions and be the voice of our customers. Collaborating and supporting your team members should come naturally as we work in cross-functional teams, and you can also drive your own tasks.

Depending on your experience and knowledge we may offer you a different seniority of the role.

You will:

  • The UX designer has in close collaboration with business analysts, a frequent dialogue with the customers, system users, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that all development is conducted in close dialog with users
  • You will be the primary responsible for UX in the squad, but you will have a team of experienced UX/UI designers who will support and guide you if necessary. Your main peers in your team are the business analysts with whom you will shape the solutions and the Frontend developers with whom you will create the solutions
  • An important part of your role will be to ensure that we have a close dialogue with our key stakeholders, such as the risk and compliance departments, and those insights are continuously created and shared with the team. We have privileged direct access to our users, so the focus is on ensuring that we are formulating hypotheses to test and that user feedback is a structured part of feature assessment
  • You may also have to support other squads with your awesome UX/UI skills

About you:

  • 3+ years of practical experience in delivering strong digital UI /UX solutions
  • Experience in conducting interviews & workshops with customers is preferred
  • Ability to translate research findings into a design strategy or UI design
  • Good at visualising and communicating solutions to stakeholders
  • Working structured with the tasks at hand and deliver in line with the expectations and deadlines
  • Experience working in an agile team is a plus
  • Be a team member and can figure to navigate in a landscape consisting of business analysts, developers, and designers
  • Use the already defined design components to create the flow
  • Document and structure the design of the pages in a way so that it can serve as a development foundation for developers (we are currently using Zeplin as a handover tool and Sketch for creating the wireframes)
  • In collaboration with business analysts, support test of the design
