As part of our Business Risk & Controls department, you will work in a team enthusiastic about empowering Danske Bank Technology and Services (T&S) to provide excellent service by working on a wide variety of non-financial risk management projects in the Governance & Methodology team.

We assist our T&S teams to ensure compliance with our Group Non-financial risk framework by effectively engaging internal stakeholders including other Business Risk & Control divisions and 2LOD to provide feedback on policies and instructions, performing deep dives on specific risk topics and developing implementation strategies for new risk and control framework requirements. We provide feedback and challenge and work with T&S units to ensure risk remediation efforts are handled effectively and efficiently.

We are looking for someone to join our Lithuania-based team.

N.B. This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania.

"You will become a part of the international risk team with 30+ employees across both Copenhagen and Vilnius (you will be based in Vilnius). "

You will:

  • Develop methodologies and guidelines for T&S units to complement policies/instructions from 2LOD
  • Identify opportunities to enhance current methodologies in line with framework requirements
  • Provide feedback on policy/instruction changes or additions
  • Work across units to continually build a stronger and more standardized risk management environment
  • Contribute to building and implementing the overall quality and risk strategy, tools and processes
  • Work in a dynamic team and be capable of shifting focus to new prioritisations when required
  • Promote a culture of continuing focus on risk management

About you:

  • 3+ years’ experience with non-financial risk management, or an audit/compliance background, preferably in financial institutions
  • Ability to build effective relationships with team members and stakeholders at all levels of seniority; communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to deliver results with limited direction and supervision
  • Solid sparring skills and the ability to stand your ground
  • Able to break down policies and frameworks into actionable and value-adding guidance
  • Able to define risk management strategy through influence colleagues and teams across different geographies to deliver a consistent agenda
  • Demonstrable ability to support and ensure an effective (Operational) risk framework
  • Upper-Intermediate English skills

Monthly salary range from 2720 EUR to 4080 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
