An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior FX Specialist to join highly effective team and take an active part in the progression of the Bank as it enters the next stage of growth.

As a FX Senior Operations Officer, you will be responsible for handling settlements for trades executed by Danske Bank on behalf of different client segments on a timely manner.
The complexity of your tasks will depend on your progress pace and individual results

In this role, you will join our FX & MM Services team in Markets department, which is responsible for post-trade customer query handling, unusual case investigation and full internall stakeholder support.

The team has a substantial Corporate & Institutional client segment contact on a daily basis and works proactively with a very high sense of client need and understanding.

In order to meet our objectives and deliver high quality services, we have to continuously expand our professional knowledge. This is ensured by close cooperation with our various stakeholders (front office staff, dealers, sales representatives, risk departments, etc.) through joint projects and trainings sessions. There is also a learning platform, which is accessible to all team members without any limitations.

You will:

• Timely and accurate settlement of FX, MM products (internationally)
• Regular communication with different stakeholders within the bank as well as external parties globally resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely service delivery
• Problem solving, investigation, handling payments, bookkeeping and confirmations of derivatives products
• Reporting to internal and external stakeholders (institutions)
• Maintain and improve quality in daily tasks so that the client receives the best possible service

About you:

• Product knowledge (FX spot and forward trades, deposits, commercial papers)
• Financial infrastructure knowledge (role of back office, settlement cycle, counterparties, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and accuracy skills
• Higher education
• Curiosity
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
• As a person, you are pro-active, self-driven and always eager to learn and develop
• You are able to work in a fast paced pressured environment, maintaining accuracy and quality with limited instructions
• You are capable of delivering high and efficient quality, while also being a great team player

Would help you to deliver:
• Experience of settlement within the area of treasury or derivatives products
• CLS and SWIFT knowledge (MT202 and MT103)
