Everyday Banking Individuals

We develop useful features and functionality in our Mobile Bank and eBank that makes daily banking easy and joyful for our personal customers. In Everyday Banking Individuals we work with various areas such as payments, cards, spending overview etc.

We are looking for a frontend specialist to our Managing My Payments squad. You will be a part of improving the customer experience when transferring money and make sure that latest technologies are used when our customers transfer money.

You will be a part of a team with 10 members including product owner, business specialists, an arcthitect and other developers specialised in Frontend, Cloud & Mainframe. The team is located in Vilnius, Copenhagen and Bangalore so meetings will often be held online but you will be working close together with another frontend developer and business specialist in Vilnius.

You will:

write high-quality frontend code for Mobile and Web.
push your code to millions of users.
be part of a self-organising squad and have an agile mind-set.
work your way through tough problems whilst employing creative solutions.
contribute to the engineering culture, Danske Bank’s inner source, and methodologies of Danske Bank.
collaborate closely with product owners, architects, software engineers, UX Designers and business analysts.
try out new technologies and raise the bar for technical excellence.
be a part of a front-end development chapter with biweekly meetup.

About you:

You are a skilled frontend developer, and you know your way around TypeScript and React or React-Native. While front-end development is your force, you have general knowledge of the field of computer science. You are also opinionated about good software architecture, and you have practical knowledge of software design patterns.

Besides that, you have:

experience with React Native or React
strong focus on code quality and knowledge of principles that ensures it.
2+ years of software engineering experience
a team-oriented person with agile mind-set

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 2880 EUR to 4320 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
