Financial Analyst in Depositary Services

Danske Bank is looking for a new member in its centre of excellence in Vilnius, which is working as an integral part of Danske Bank Depositary Services Global team with the corresponding teams in the Nordics (Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki).

As a member of this team you will have responsibility to perform analysis and controls to ensure that our Depositary Services clients stay regulatory compliant. You will get an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of financial instruments and investment funds.

You will:

  • Perform daily controls on Danske Bank fund clients (such as Investment Restrictions, Best Execution, Cash Flow, Timely Settlement, Collateral control, Free of Payment checks)
  • Perform Bank account and Holdings Reconciliation
  • Recalculate NAV and ratio/fraction
  • Support your colleagues in Nordics and Lithuania in their day-to-day work
  • Take a proactive role in developing and improving existing controls

About you:

  • 2+ years experience as analyst
  • Higher degree in Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems or a related field
  • Relevant experience from asset management or banking working with settlement, controlling and reporting
  • You are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
  • You are detail oriented, organised and have a systematic approach that will enables you to understand Depositary business and our client activities
  • You are proactive, flexible and thrive with deadlines
  • Experience with VBA and SQL would be an advantage
