For this inspiring journey, we invite a DevOps engineer to join the monitoring & automation squad – a fully cross-functional team having DevOps, SRE, Test Automation and Business specialists onboarded.

The Tribe monitoring & automation squad mission is to Enable feature Teams in Retail Investment Tribe to be effective and efficient in you build it, you run it, model.

So what does enabling mean in our context?

  • We are engineering secure and trusted environments, automation, observability services, self-services, processes and practices for the Tribe so that feature teams can do their best for the customers.
  • We are supporting feature teams to build setups needed for their applications, development and operations.
  • We are sharing knowledge and teaching feature teams how to do DevOps and Operations efficiently.

Tech Stack: We are working with: Internal Danske Bank Cloud, AWS, Docker, Openshift, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, etc.

You will:

You will be working closely with experienced DevOps engineers, Developers and Tribe Architects to build and maintain a solid future-proof technical foundation and DevSecOps practices in Retail Investment Tribe.

To be more precise your responsibilities will include:

  • Together with teammates design, build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns in our Infrastructure and development value stream
  • Implement mature observability services (Logging/Alerting/Monitoring) for Investment applications
  • Closely collaborate with Central Observability and Toolset Engineering Teams to bring best practices to our area
  • Teach Developers how to do (Logging/Alerting/Monitoring) in the right way
  • Learn DevOps craft (CICD, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Security) from experience colleagues

About you:

A bit about you and your background:

  • We expect that your passion and primary area of interest at work is within the world of DevOps and SRE
  • You have a strong IT foundation (Networks, Linux Servers, Virtualization or Containerization)
  • You already have technical expertise in Logging, Alerting and Monitoring tools (e.g. Open Telemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack)
  • Writing code and scripting is your preferred way to build and operate systems (Infrastructure, monitoring, etc)
  • You are an innovative and creative problem solver with a can-do attitude
  • You want to learn DevOps craft from senior colleagues (CICD, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Security)
  • Upper-intermediate skills in written and spoken English

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3280 EUR to 4920 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
