You will become part of the Channels Individuals Tribe – where we are responsible for Danske Banks online bank solutions for retail customers, such as Mobile Bank, Web Bank, Homepage, etc. These solutions serve high traffic loads and are used by more than a million users
The role is part of our platform squad, which is playing a major role in creating the underlying infrastructure for the mobile bank and web-bank solutions in Danske Bank. We are primarily working on solutions for retail customers in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, UK and Luxemburg.

For this inspiring journey, we invite a DevOps engineer to join our team.

You will:

You will be working closely with highly experienced engineers in our Digital Bank platform team responsible for building and maintaining the technical foundation for all our full-stack feature teams.

Your main responsibilities will be:
• Operating and maintaining the core of the Digital Bank platform
• Designing and building for usability, performance, scale, and maintainability
• Working closely with distributed teams
• Not being afraid to try out new technologies and raise the bar for technical excellence

About you:

• Previous experience (+2 years) in platform engineer, system administrator or application development positions
• Good understanding of the Platform Engineer disciplines and knowledge of basic IT principles: OS / Server Support / Database administration / Network / Security
• Experience with Linux and Windows
• Experience with C#, SQL, Shell, PowerShell, Kubernetes(Rancher), ELK and Prometheus
• Excited to work with a team troubleshooting highly available production systems
• Will and ability to learn new languages and frameworks

Considered as a plus:
• Experience with Rundeck, Ansible, and other automation tooling
• Experience with telemetric, CI/CD solutions
• Experience with Docker/Openshift
