Decision Modeling has a mission to disrupt traditional credit granting processes and putting customers first by fast and transparent credit decisions. Our focal point is to engage gratification and higher customer satisfaction from what we do, and some of the key aspects that will take us there, is automated decisions in the customer journey by working from a perspective of contributing to a standardized process and minimizing resources spend.

You will be part of Decision Modeling, a team consisting of 35 employees working out of our offices in Lithuania (Vilnius) and Denmark (Copenhagen). You will be based in Vilnius.
We are a team with a flat structure and unformal atmosphere. Our focus is to have a strong collaboration and enable the best in each other. We work in a high-paced environment with many stakeholders, so for us to success, we all need to have high integrity for the team.

In this role, you will get to be part of a team, which brings together the best of expert knowledge and statistical analysis to secure a solid decision on retail customers.

Depending on your experience and knowledge we may offer you a different seniority of the role.

You will:

You will be responsible for pushing the boundaries of how to use analytics directly in credit decisions and, you will be contributing to the sustenance the automation in the customer journey.
You work in close collaboration with key stakeholders across customers, risk, credit, IT and business in order to capture the necessary business understanding and secure the practical applicability of the final models.

Your tasks will also be to:

  • Strengthening the use of Python in our work
  • Developing, preparing, testing and implementing to the production set-up
  • Working with machine learning, reject inference, multivariate analysis etc.
  • Portfolio and impact analysis of proposed modifications and add-ons to the decision flow
  • Fact-finding through data investigation

About you:

In this role, your key success factor is your the ability to communicate technical results in a non-technical and concise manner. Further, your abilities to put the customers first, collaborate with many different types of people, challenge ideas, and learn new are essential.

Your background:

  • Higher education in quantitative sciences (i.e. mathematics, physics, economics, engineering, statistics or similar)
  • Strong analytical mind-set from experience with quantitative modelling and working with large datasets
  • Some experience working in Python, SQL, R or similar as well as using JIRA and Confluence for documentation, task-handling and communication
  • Professional working proficiency (written and spoken) in English

Your greatest assets are your passion, proactive approach, creative problem solving skills and your ability to be self-organizing and work autonomously with the mandate to move fast and do things differently – and dare to fail and learn from it.
