Global Insights is part of the Data and Analytics Technology Office with key motivation and strategic goal to drive value from data and data-driven reporting solutions at scale. Next to Data Platform, Group Data Office CoE, and Analytics Foundation CoE we represent the Business Intelligence arm of the Data and Analytics area.

The global Insights team has a mission to provide timely and valuable insights and digital reporting solutions to support teams and organisational units across the Bank. We hold responsibility spanning from development and continuous improvement of digital reporting solutions to ETL/ELT and infrastructure maintenance. Our reporting product portfolio primarily focuses on process performance analytics and management information.

You will:

Enable the end-users to realize consistent and ever-increasing value from data-driven reporting solutions by:

Effectively teaming up with 20 business intelligence analysts and data engineers in our department
Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving scalable ETL/ELT solutions and key reporting infrastructure components in the process analytics domain
Taking part in data migration, technology modernization, and new report development projects ensuring not only technical but also qualitative characteristics in line with defined use cases
Increasing the speed-to-insights through outcome-focused, practical, and scalable data engineering solutions
Creatively collaborating with the broader data & analytics community to continuously improve the interconnectedness of data repositories, enabling optimal use of IT infrastructure and adopting new technologies in the data engineering field.
Assisting to ensure solution compliance with development standards, IT risk, and security protocols as well as sound data management principles
Act as a sparring partner for other data engineers and BI analysts in the team

About you:

Experienced in working with large-scale and diverse enterprise data sets and ETL/ELT solutions utilizing such technologies and products like MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSMDS, APIs, Python, HiveQL, Tableau, and/ or other equivalent technologies/tools for processing data at scale
Have broad expertise in the data & analytics domain and a good understanding of how technological data solutions contribute to the realisation of end-user value from digital reporting solutions
Experienced working with large amounts of data and organising it into structured, meaningful, and scalable databases
Have a good understanding of data sourcing, integration and enrichment best practices, industry standards, and relevant tooling
Experienced in system and data model analysis, understanding and producing relevant technical system documentation
Familiar with information management concepts such as data lineage/traceability, data governance, data ownership, GDPR requirements, data quality assurance, and technological solutions/tools underpinning these concepts
Experienced in building efficient, resilient, and scalable IT solutions and handling the lifecycle of those solutions
Experience in developing solutions in AWS public cloud is a plus
Have good communicational and interpersonal skills
Having a motivated, agile, can-do mindset, good critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Innovative, positive, enthusiastic, and approachable
Upper – intermediate English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 2960 EUR to 4440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
