Data Engineer in Buying and Owning Real Estate Nordic Tribe

You will join Buying & Owning Real Estate Nordic tribe and become part of one of the largest transformations in the history of Danske Bank. Our aim is to digitalize the end-to-end customer journey of buying and owning Real Estate, Consumer Finance, and Sustainability in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. In addition to that, you’ll be part of Sustainability Squad which function is to support Danske Bank’s sustainability strategy through the development of digital solutions and data foundations, aiming to ensure innovative and robust sustainable offerings to the customers.

You will:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for doing the initial business exploration, analysis, and visualization of data in various forms and origins for analytical and reporting purposes. You will also handle data management’s technical and investigative aspects, including data modeling, data access, data transformation, report building, quality assurance, and platform and performance-related topics.

You will be working in an environment where we take the agile mindset seriously and where you have a possibility to make a difference and leave a mark if you find situations where we could do better.

You will understand and have an overview of the business processes that you are supporting as part of the overall solution.

About you:

  • Quantitative background – Degree in analytical field (e.g., econometrics, statistics, computer science, physics).
  • Experience in SQL and programming languages like Python, R or similar.
  • Experience with Data discovery, data profiling, data modeling, and translating high-level business requirements into ETL/ELT specifications.
  • Experience developing processes for data acquisition, data transformation, data migration, data verification, and data monitoring.
  • Experience generating reports to deliver insights, including ad hoc data extraction and the ability to communicate technical results in a non-technical and concise manner.
