Wealth Analytics is a cross-functional team located in Denmark and Lithuania that provides data-driven insights on investment products to empower a holistic wealth advice improving customer experience.

This position is within a team of experienced business analysts and data engineers making sure that we have trustworthy and efficient database solutions to build the insights upon. The position is located in Vilnius.

We are also a part of a large international community of data and business analysts, data scientists and investment experts in Danske Bank, sharing knowledge and new ideas across borders and business units.

You will:

  • You will help to enhance data management by optimizing SQL (SAS/Alteryx) codes
  • You will help to identify the most relevant data input and create infrastructure and ETL to combine the data from different sources into one database
  • You will ensure that code is sustainable and maintainable
  • You will contribute to improving the setup of execution and monitoring for scheduled processes and tasks
  • You could expect about half of the time to be spent on developing the code, a quarter on discussing requirements and needs with business analysts and a quarter working on regular activities
  • We work as a scrum team, where each sprint you will take up the refined tasks contributing towards the final insights to be used by our business stakeholders making data driven business decisions

About you:

  • You have database (or software) development experience of at least 2 years
  • You have comprehensive hands-on experience with SQL (SAS or Alteryx skills are considered as an advantage)
  • You have a track record in understanding the data and organizing it into structured, meaningful and reusable formats on database
  • You can see a wider picture but also dive into details to understand particular data usage, dependencies and relations
  • You have an academic background in Computer Sciences, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or similar field
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience in financial sector and agile working environment is considered as an advantage
