We are currently looking for a Data Analyst in Data Excellence Team in Transaction Services. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to build expert skills in performance reporting, business processes, customers and products. You will:

  • Hunt & extract data from core systems
  • Organise data models in databases and develop data flows
  • Create automated monitoring and reporting solutions to ensure excellent data quality
  • Work with the team to deliver on data and analytics
  • Work with the team to transform the data into insights
  • Support one of business units from a data perspective in strengthening and developing overall financial crime control framework in Danske Bank
  • Collect and/or coordinate the collection of relevant data by engaging with stakeholders across the organization

About you:

  • Experience within Microsoft SQL Server and SAS
  • 1+ year experience with data modeling, analysis and reporting
  • Higher education in Mathematics, Economics, Management Information Systems or similar
  • Experience with designing and automating data flows
  • Ability to present and explain findings clearly
  • Advanced data visualization skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust to changes
  • Fluent in English – both oral and written
  • Technical understanding of payment schemes and standards (e.g. SWIFT) is preferable
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or other) would be an advantage
  • Experience working with Jira/ Confluence would be an advantage

How will your day look like?

Your responsibilities will be conducting analysis, validation and compilation of data with a purpose to provide facts about how our processes are performing from service delivery performance perspective.
We work closely together with other teams in our department and across the organization and deliver unique solutions for process transparency for all parts of Danske Bank, therefore you will work with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
