The development environment is modern with .NET Core, Java, OpenShift, and Microservices being core components. We take pride in being technical stewards and choosing the right technology to address every situation.
We are currently scaling our tribe to support our API journey in Danske Bank and looking for skilled lead software engineers to join us.

You will:

Here you will have a central role in designing and building innovative APIs to support our transformation journey. These APIs should be simple, in-demand, easy to use, available, high quality, and built on our cloud platform.
To achieve that, we are looking for a skilled engineer and an experienced team member who can act as a trainer and knowledge resource in the team.
Your ability to grow (and grow with) the tribe is the most important competence you bring.

• Act as one of the technical “gurus” for developers, and ideally you will be able to seamlessly switch between explaining the helicopter view and diving into the code
• Code as well as lead others in applying best software development practices will also be part of your job
• Drive continuous learning and improvement for yourself and your team – inspire, motivate and coach your colleagues
• Promote agile ways of working in a large scale, complex environment
• Be on the forefront of technological development to ensure the highest possible efficiency and software quality

About you:

• 6+ years of experience writing SOLID C# code on .NET Core or Java
• MSSQL data persistence with EF Core and Elastic stack
• RabbitMQ and IBM WebsphereMQ messaging systems
• DDD, Event sourcing, APIs and microservice architecture design
• Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Testing on several levels: Unit, integration, acceptance, end to end, etc.
• CI/CD pipelines with TFS/Azure DevOps
• Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence) for Scrum and team collaboration
• Understanding of critical enterprise systems, Microsoft and open source stack on cloud infrastructure
• Fluent in English
