Join our Linux and Container Orchestration team at Danske Bank – where cool tech meets big goals. We manage Linux and container-based services in both private and public clouds. You’ll be part of a team handling over 10,000 Linux machines and developing OpenShift clusters in the financial Nordics, running 50,000+ containers. And that’s not all – we’re preparing to expand our infrastructure to the public cloud.

You will:

  • Play a key role in running and improving our Linux and cloud services
  • Provide expert advice to our infrastructure teams, users, and developers, and mentor your team members
  • Be the main contact for one of our services, helping users solve problems and keeping things running smoothly
  • Automate processes to make operations more efficient, freeing up time for innovation and strategic work
  • Bring forward new ideas and strategies to keep our infrastructure at the forefront of the industry
  • Help shape our roadmap by contributing insights and future improvements

About you:

  • 4 + years of hands-on experience with Linux
  • Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, or others
  • Scripting or programming skills in any of the following languages: Ruby, Python, Bash
  • Understanding of Linux security technologies and observability practices, methods, and tools
  • Experience with automation tools like Chef, Ansible, Terraform, AWS SSM
  • Great troubleshooting and debugging skills, enabling you to diagnose and fix issues quickly and efficiently
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to work with diverse teams and build a positive working environment
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud services in AWS
  • Upper-Intermediate skills in English
